WHAT WE'RE DOING

We are designing a study - the first of its kind -  to investigate whether or not there is a correlation between having EDS and the chances of developing long Covid after SARS-CoV-2 infection.

This will initially involve inviting EDS patients, along with controls (people without EDS), to complete a research questionnaire, currently being designed.

Next steps may involve inviting long Covid patients and controls (those without long Covid) to complete a questionnaire that looks for prevalence of EDS in that population, and, depending on the outcome, a prospective study (enrolling participants and following them over time) of both patient groups.
